February/27 First epics of 2024 arrived HERE

February/1 In 2023, the year of the 75th birthday of my late wife, the painter ANGELIK RIEMER, I put a database together on her lifetime work and finished a book showing the most important steps in her life and her artistic career

January/1 Let's start NEW YEAR 2024 with some hope for PEACE and TOLERANCE

Year 2023 has not brought what one can call PEACE! Ukraine is still under steady fierce attacks by Russian troops, October 7th added more hate and violence to the world and cut back the possibilities of living as good door to door neighbours. And let's not forget all the places in Africa, Asia and Middle- und South America where religious intolerance, supremacy thinking, violence, suppression and bloodshed is permanently occuring.

Art will not be able to stop the suffering of the victims. Art can only describe a world as it is seen from the inside of the soul and heart.

December/15 Videofilm SPRAY - ready for release

A videofilm reportage about a graffiti project at KuB - a Berlin contact and support facility for juvenile street people. And, yay, the young folks did some really wonderful graffiti and spray paintings.
December/12 Looking back 2022 - what did I do?

Well, almost all of my artistic work was triggered through travelling.

In spring Henriette and I enjoyed two fine concerts at HAMBURG. We stayed in this glorious hotel which connects so beautifully with the Hamburg opera, the ELBPHILHARMONIE, for two nights and through the wide floor to cieling windows every morning we had a splendid view towards HAFENCITY.

And yay! Short time after, in Hamburg again, we enjoyed the brisk and powerful re-union concert of Flo Mega and The Ruffcats.

In the middle of Mayr I took some almost romantic Polaroids during a bicycle trip to bauhaus DESSAU. and in early summer we suffered a bit at the Kassel documenta 15 which wasn't very inspiring for me. At least I did a revisiting shot of the "KASSELER KIEFER" that I had shot during that fine documenta 14 in 2017 right behind Haus-Rucker-Co "Rahmenbau" (1977).

During the very hot summer of 2022, on our way to and from UMBRIA, we adventured the BIENNALE at VENICE and relaxed at a fine vinery with a refreshing SWIMMINGPOOL in the outskirts of Tuoro sul Trasimeno.

Some days later we started for a bicycle tour to STERNENPARK BRANDENBURG.
The heat, narrow roads, sandy pathes or agricultural roads laid out in concrete slabs - that's Brandenburg in summer. Lovely. Alas, cloudy skies did not allow to enjoy MILKY WAY

Late autumn saw us in PARIS again which is reflected in three smart 2023 3D calendars..

Did I mention, that in December, we saw Flo Mega and The Ruffcats performing fantasticly LIVE at LIDO Club too?

January/1 HAVE A WONDERFUL NEW YEAR 2022

After a stressful year 2021 (with MANY HIGHTLIGHTS shining bright) we hopefully are heading for an even better 2022!
