In January 1993 I travelled to
PRAG
beautiful capital of Czech Republik.

Alas, arriving in Prag I had to learn
how cold this place can be during winter, so i had to buy long underpants for a start!.

Skies were dominated by
exhaust fumes of brown coal burning ovens
and exhaust gases of
two-stroke-engine cars.

People rushed by
with shoulders hunched.

All that, in dull winter light
did send echoes of
 » TRISTESSE
to my heart.
