An extraordinary fashion show of
CLAUDIA SKODA
and
TABEA BLUMENSCHEIN

at Berlin Kongresshalle
(now Haus der Kulturen der Welt, HKW).


Ignoring the classic "catwalk" style,
the sculptor JÜRGEN SKODA (Claudia's husband)
built a dark room with red wire fences
which formed
cages
in which the models presented the pieces of
Claudia's and Tabea's
1979 collection

behaving like birds!

The fences kept the audience in distance whilst

SALOME and LUCIANO CASTELLI as "GEILE TIERE"
roamed the space
together with "TWO BIRDS"
(performing dancer duo EMU from Paraguay)

to the stunning sound collage
"BIG BIRDS"
written for this show and performed live by
MANUEL GÖTTSCHING .

This film was part of the multimedia show

"DRESSED TO THRILL"

to honour Claudia's live achievment
as a fashion designer at
Kunstbibliothek of Kunstforum Berlin
(from 2021/04 to 2021/07)
