An extraordinary fashion show of
CLAUDIA SKODA
and
TABEA BLUMENSCHEIN

at Berlin Kongresshalle
(now Haus der Kulturen der Welt, HKW).


Ignoring the classic "catwalk" style,
a dark room with red wire fences was created:

in which the models
presented the pieces of
Claudia's and Tabea's
1979 collection

mimicking exotic birds!

The fences kept the audience in distance whilst

SALOME and LUCIANO CASTELLI as "GEILE TIERE"
roamed the air space,

together with "TWO BIRDS"
(performing dancer duo EMU from Paraguay)
on the floor space

to the stunning sound collage
"BIG BIRDS"
live performed at his beloved ARP SEQUENCER by

MANUEL GÖTTSCHING .

This film was screened as part of
a multimedia show
to honour Claudia's live achievment
as a fashion designer:
