After using the NIKON Coolpix models
990 and 2500
I tried a SONY F88
a really small cam
which used SONY Memory Sticks
and had a very good LCD display.

Soon after, NIKON presented
a new swivel model:
I bought a NIKON S4.

Malheureusement
this model was
almost unusable on bright summer days
because of the display
which was almost unreadable under plein sunlight

This aside
the S4 model was a neat
wearable digi-cam delivering sharp
saturated epics and it helped
to take serial photographies
and some nice programmed shots.

I often used it as for producing additional stills
when shooting video films.
